The whole automatic potato chips making line working process is as follows:

Fresh potato choosing → potato washing and peeling → potato slicing → potato blanching → drying → frying →  deoiling →  seasoning → potato chips packaging.

What machines make up the potato chips processing plant?

1. Potato washing and peeling machine

This machine can complete potato cleaning and peeling work at the same time. High efficiency, low breakage rate, and special design of brush can clean potatoes thoroughly and then peel them thoroughly. The loss rate after peeling is less than 2%, and there are no broken potatoes. Potato cleaning and peeling machine are also suitable for other vegetables and fruits such as beet, radish, sweet potato, carrot, etc.

2. Potato slicer machine

Potato slicer is to cut the peeled potato into thin slices with non-adjustable thickness, i.e. 2mm. the shape of the slices is divided into two types, flat and wavy, by changing the blades inside the machine. There are large and small feeding ports, and the raw material should be put into the appropriate feeding port according to the size.

3. Potato chips blanching machine

The potato blanching machine can remove the excess starch from the surface of the potato slicer, thus producing crispy potato chips. The heating temperature of the small potato chip machine is around 90-100℃.

4. Potato chips drying machine

Adopting the principle of centrifugal force, this chips drying machine is safe, convenient, and efficient. Dehydration before frying can prevent hot oil splashing when frying, greatly shorten the frying time and improve the taste of potato chips.

5. Potato chips frying machine

Frying crispy potato chips is an essential step. The frying temperature is about 170℃ and the frying time is about 3-4 minutes. The boiling oil will not give black smoke during the operation, and the precise oil temperature control system ensures the quality and taste of the finished chips and fries. The treated sewage can be discharged through the drainage port at the bottom of the fryer.

6. Potato chip de-oiling machine

The centrifugal degreaser removes excess oil from fried potato chips to avoid the greasy taste and enhance the taste of the chips. This machine, like the de-watering machine, can be bought on a small budget.

7. Potato chips seasoning machine

After degreasing, the potato chips are transported to the seasoning system, and you can add different seasonings as needed. The structure design is simple and practical, and the octagonal barrel is made of stainless steel so that the fries are more thoroughly and evenly flavored.
